Not only is the beautiful setting in the Blue Ridge Mountains of western North Carolina a draw to bring ceramic artists to live in Madison County, but there is also the easy access to some of the country’s best clay to work with. Artists often speak of nature as their inspiration for their ideas and so, many relocated to this area to set up their studios to experience such an inspiration on a daily basis. The mountains are full of artists and a community that supports them.
