Little Ivy Creek

Little Ivy Creek is an easily accessible creek that is great for experienced and novice fly-fishermen. Only a few minutes from the I-26, the creek runs several miles along Beech Glen Road near the town of Mars Hill.

This creek is stocked, be sure to check on the NC stocking schedule linked on our fishing homepage to see when the next batch of fish will be delivered!

There are a few places to park and hop into Little Ivy Creek but the best place is at the Beech Glen Community Center which sits right at the creek. There is plenty of parking and very easy access into the water there.

Rainbows, browns and brookies can be caught here but come prepared with plenty of flies. Dryflies and nymphs will do well here. Be patient, and check out Little Ivy Creek!
