Each year, the Rotary Club of Madison County offers a chance to play one of the highest golf courses east of the Mississippi River at nearly 5,000 feet. Our benefit golf tournament is held at Wolf Laurel Country Club in the Mars Hill area. This year, delayed by the pandemic, the benefit will be Saturday, October 17 with check in time of 9am Mid October is the height of “leaf season” and thus, best time of year to play at Wolf Laurel when the leaves are changing. Not only will you be treated to breath-taking views (especially at holes 6 and 10), but your entry fee will help support programs that benefit the youth and the Madison County community as a whole.

There are plenty of opportunities for awards and a hole-in-one contest which has a prize of $25,000 cash, a trip to Ireland, or a Pinehurst golf vacation. Gather up your golfing buddies for an enjoyable day on a beautiful course for just $80 per person.

Check in at 9am with breakfast biscuits. The format is Captain’s Choice with the shotgun start is at 10am and you will be treated to a Chick-fil-A lunch at the turn. The limit is 72 golfers or 18 foursomes so contact the event chair Gary Webb at (828) 206-1983 or email This email address is being protected from spambots. Celebrate 10 Years of Flow July 24th through August 15th Opening Reception Friday, July 24th, 5:30 - 7:30

Flow is excited to be celebrating its 10th Anniversary with a Member Show. Come to Flow to see the lovely, new work of the six current and six former members (aka owners). Each piece was made especially for this show to commemorate this accomplishment. The show opening is Friday from 5:30 to 7:30 pm. Please note that Flow requires masks to enter the store and limits the number of people in the shop to 10 at any time. Unfortunately, offering food and drink conflicts with safety measures so we decided not to offer any refreshments for this opening. The show will remain up until Saturday, August 15th. Our current store hours are Thursday thru Saturday from 12:30 to 5:00 pm or by appointment.
