Bill Weldner began his career teaching art both at the high school and college levels before settling in the Spring Creek area of Madison County. Here in his studio, he concentrates on both acrylic paintings and digital prints. For one series of his digital prints, he has taken advantage of his location which is just a short drive from Max Patch on the Appalachian Trail. He uses images of the surrounding mountains and creeks and combines at least three photos. This process involves manipulation and alteration which weaves the images together on the computer. Bill is also listed under the Painter’s section of the site. The studio is open to visitors by appointment and the drive is worth the trip.

From a very young age, Matt Zedler was surrounded by artists of all types (visual, literary, and musical) in both his immediate family and beyond. This environment nurtured the creativity which eventually led him to his current passion in the visual art field. Matt describes his current style as Abstract Expressionism working mainly with acrylics and oils, but also with a variety of mixed medium in both 2D and 3D.
What he loves most about the process is capturing his own “intelligent design and individualist creative vibrant mark” each time he produces a work.  Matt has a studio and gallery on Main Street in historic downtown Marshall where you can visit by appointment.
