Restaurants in Mars Hill, NC
The town of Mars Hill has several restaurants right in downtown on the Main Street and close by for those who are visiting the Mars Hill College campus or attending a SART Play at Owen Theatre. A Colombian chef cooks the Latin food on the menu at El Dorado or you can enjoy a southern dish at one of the other restaurants nearby. The best pizza in the area is served at Papa Nicks on the college campus. If you are just looking to satisfy your sweet tooth, try one of the two ice cream shops. A few of the fast food chains provide a quick stop if you are just passing by on the Interstate, but you are missing a real opportunity if you don’t drive just that one mile to Main Street to try out one of the local restaurants.

The idea for this coffee and sweets shop began at the insistence of family and friends who had tried the yummy chocolate treats created by Marsha Mason and Katie Mason – a mother and daughter team. They opened the shop in 2011 but still sell their their goodies at local farmers markets. Luscious chocolate treats and other mouth-watering pastries will tempt you in this intimate coffee shop.
