The Hot Springs Campground is located along the banks of the French Broad River, a short stroll from the Hot Springs Spa and Natural Mineral Baths. Our campground is family friendly and shrouded amongst trees offering shade and beautiful settings, even on the hottest day. The campground also has RV facilities and cabins for rent. Laughing Heart Lodge Hostel Camping
Just off the Appalachian Trail as you enter the town of Hot Springs is the Laughing Heart Lodge Hostel. Camping accommodations are available on the grounds with the use of the shower and kitchen facilities in the hostel. The grounds of the Lodge will be unlike any other campgrounds as there is an expansive lawn creating a sense of serenity which is the “heart” of the philosophy of the Innkeepers of the Laughing Heart Lodge. And, the town of Hot Springs is just a short walk along the AT from the grounds.

Our secluded campground is the perfect place to get away and relax. Enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of a crackling campfire next to a mountain stream. Our spacious campsites are all equipped with full hook-ups and picnic tables. There’s cabin rental and RV hookup spaces as well as spots to pitch a tent. Enjoy the serenity of this beautiful location.
Creek Ridge Camping
Camping in Hot Springs at Creek Ridge Creek Ridge is a very beautiful & unique campground in Hot Springs NC, unlike anything you’ve ever seen. Our campsites are very private and located along Spring Creek, where each campsite has a PEEKA (covered deck) and a campfire pit with i a grill. You may choose to sleep on the deck or pitch a tent and use the PEEKA for shelter. You may consider this extreme camping, but its an experience you don’t want to miss. There’s hiking trails all over our property to walk and a beautiful waterfall to see that leads into Spring Creek.
Pisgah National Forest
Both primitive and developed camping opportunities throught Madison County in the Pisgah National Forest. Group and individual camping areas include the Harmon Den Area, Murray Branch Recreation Area, Silvermine Campground, Max Patch Mountain and the Rocky Bluff Recreation Area.
