7pm in Moore Auditorium at Mars Hill College. Performing will be Bryan Sutton, Jerry Douglas, Tim O’Brien, Casey Driesen, and Dennis Crouch. Sutton, a multiple Grammy-award winner, has recorded with Dolly Parton, Norah Jones, and Doc Watson. He spent 4 years as a member of Ricky Skagg’s band, Kentucky Thunder. Douglas is a 12-time Grammy Award winner and was Country Music Associations’ “Musician of the Year” in 2002, 2005 and 2007. Tim O’Brien has won numerous awards including a Grammy in 2005 and “Male Vocalist of the Year” in 1993 and 2006 from the International Bluegrass Music Association. Driessen is a Grammy-nominated fiddle player. Crouch, one of the nation’s foremost upright bass players, has recorded and performed with Dolly Parton, Johnny Cash, Elvis Costello and many others.
